Through the interweaving of yoga asana (physical movement postures), pranayama (breath work) and meditation we develop internal strength, clarity, steadiness and balance, qualities that carry far beyond the mat into all aspects of life.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga explores the art of stillness and offers an opportunity to slow down the body to steady the mind. It is a wonderful complement and balance to a more dynamic yoga asana practice and busy lifestyle.

In a Yin yoga class, floor based poses are held with the support of props for a longer period of time to encourage deep myofascial release, and to facilitate an embodied meditative experience.

Restorative Yoga

This practice facilitates deep rest and calms the nervous system. Gentle movement, breath work and longer held positions are designed to gently open and relax, releasing tension in body and mind. Props are used to create ease and comfort in each position, encouraging surrender and letting go.

I aim to make every class accessible to all levels of experience, fitness, age, gender or ethnicity.

Beginners are always welcome - I would love the opportunity to share the wonderful benefits of yoga practice with you. Along with mindful movement, my classes will introduce you to practical aspects of yoga and Chinese Medicine philosophy to support your well being off the mat.
